Life as a mom!!!

So tonight will be my first experience as a mom of a "TEEN" oh wait my little girl is only 6!!!! She talks and acts she is a teen already but today one of Alli's friend mothers call to see if I could pick her daughter up after school tomorrow she has a funeral to attend. Well she found of the funeral is 4 1/2 hours away so she had to leave around 4am... This is were it get crazy... she asked could she spend the night or she could drop her off around 4am!!! really 4am no thanks I thought... I said just bring her over tonight. Tonight Alli is having her first sleep over and its a school night. Alli is super excited, I told her they could sleep in Alli's room but if I hear chatting Alli would have to leave her room and sleep some where else. We will see how this whole thing goes, this little girl will also be coming back over to the house after school and then we are taking Alli and her friend back up to school tomorrow night at 7pm bc Locke hill is having movie night.... YEA!!! ha at least the movies not to bad, "The Chipmunks Squeakquel".

This weekend on Sunday we are starting our kitchen... We have all the cabinets put together and half of the handles put on I think we still have 15 or so handles left to do. More pictures to come!

Today at Baskin robins is .31 scoop night 5pm-10pm.... Every body take their families out for a treat and Baskin Robins is donating $100,000 from the money they make today to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. We will be there!!!!!

I was at Target and saw this box of Cinnamon toast crunch (Dads favorite... ha) I just couldn't pass up buying it just bc it was so large!!!!!

Alli's Jumping for a cause!

Alli is jumping for a cause at school, Her school is taking to jump rope to help raise money for children's heart disease.

What is Jump rope for a Heart?
Its an American Heart Association event
You jump rope and learn about your heart
Children are helped by the money we raise
Why is it important?
Some children have special hearts and need our help
We learn how our heart works and how to take care if it
And it feels great to help other people
How can you help....?
Donate as much money as you can spare, remember its to help save the littlest members of
our nation.

Alli has made her own web page though the American Heart Association to raise as much money as she can and she and our family is asking every one to help out and give, our children are worth it! :)

Ikea.... Trip #2

After the first time going to Ikea I just couldn't get enough of it!!!!!! But after our first I also found out that you can have your kitchen remodeled through them crazy right, I first saw a piece in the SA new paper some lady and her husband designed there kitchen on the Ikea website then picked up all the pieces and then put them together at their home and hung them up.... I thought eh its Ikea its probably cheep and made ok but not great. But after Alex and I first visit there we were very surprised... there kitchen cabinets were very nice and sturdy all the hardware was very nice and I loved all the options were very cool. So Alex and I came home thought long and hard about redoing our kitchen with them and we decided to redo the kitchen. So this past Saturday we headed up to Ikea and had our Kitchen plan all laid out had them check for an mishaps (there were NONE duh I planned this kitchen haha) and then they rang us up..... The bill boooooo but it was way more affordable then going through a contractor or places like lowes/Homepot. Then they loaded us up and back home we came! Now I can't wait to blog about putting everything together and up!!!!

Movie Night

Tonight we are having movie night just for Alli bc she was Super good at Ikea today.... Ikea is another story I start telling tomorrow. Tonight we are watching Shrek 2, recorded this TV movie call "Secret of the mountain" (its like National Treasurer) But Alli wanted Shrek 2. This is Bennett's FIRST movie night she cry the first 2 mins ha the diaper change and so far she is still happy. I hope she stays this way! Tomorrow the Ikea story!

Guitar

For my Birthday WE ALL got guitars weird huh... But I have always said I really wanted to learn to play the guitar and Alex and Alli always say they do too, So We all got guitars. I was sad... Alli got the PINK one, Alex said he looked for an adult guitar that was pink but he didn't find one. So I'm getting mine bejeweled... oh yes I said bejeweled as in crystals

Getting Better

Every day is getting better with our new addition, last week was agonizing. Poor daddy I thought he might have been ready to give Bennett back ha, we switched Bennett's Formula following Doc's order and the first formula we tried was the soy. That made my poor girl all stopped up, then we went back to half old formula and half the lactose formal that WORKED!! But it took a couple of days to cycle through her.... Starting Saturday it was like we had a new baby girl she has been great!!!!!!!! AND yesterday and today Bennett has taken her formula like a champ and she's eating 5oz what a little piggy. She is also finally on some what of a sleep schedule during the day, she has ALWAYS been a great night sleep 9:30pm-6:30/7am. But now her day has become great she takes her morning nap around 9/10am and then afternoon nap around 3/4pm.

School Carnival

This weekend Allis school had to carnival fund raiser, it was awesome there was rides, games, food, drinks, and a silent auction.
