Bows Bows Bows...

To all the crazy moms that put a bow in their child's hair to match EVERY outfit they own this post is for you!!!!!
With my 1st daughter I wasn't really into all the crazy bows but I started working at a very prestigious preschool 3 years ago and all of my children's parents had bows for every outfit. So when I found out I was pregnant and we were having a girl I was super excited about all the wonderful bows I could buy, till I check out baby boutiques around San Antonio. most of these wonderful bows I loved started around $2.75 and went on up to $5 PER bow some of the really cute ones I liked I wanted a pair one for each side of Bennett's little head but those were $8-$15. Absurd for one bow we would have had a bow collection that was worth hundreds, No thanks! So i went to Hobby Lobby one of my favorite stores and I bought things of ribbon and the little alligator hair clips. So far I have only made 4 little starter bows (for Valentines Day) but they came out soooo cute. I made the bigger ones for Alli and the small ones for Bennett, we have Valentines day outfits in this house!!!!!! I will be making more.... One for every outfit hahaha and I'll post them on here!

Baby Update

So I just took this picture to show all your wonderful people that I'm still pregnant!!!! Today is my due date and we are just a waiting!!!! And at this moment I'm trying to convince Alex and Alli we should walk down to HEB bc we are making Turkey Chili for dinner and all we need is the Chili powder.... HEB is only like a mile away.... I need to walk this baby out!!!

For everyone that doesn't know I'll be delivering at the new Stone Oak Methodist hospital... look how pretty it is, it's only been open like 6 months!!!!

So this post sucks to write but we are still hoping that it will happen this weekend... So Alex and I went to my Wednesday doctors appointment and Dr. Harden said there has been NO CHANGE Bennett has not dropped anymore nor have I dilated anymore still at 3cm!!! So my Dr said just wait..... and then if I haven't had her by Monday I will go back in and have another ultrasound to make sure Bennett has grown big enough to induce. Then I guess will pick a day to induce. Thank God! If you don't know why we are so ready for Bennett other then the normal we want to see her it's bc my due date is TOMORROW! Jan 30th.....

One week in....

So for every one not in my daily life this was my first full week of being a "HOMEMAKER" I would like everyone to call me "Domestic Goddess"..... Ha I love that term! For all of you people out there rolling your eyes, Get over it. Its true any mother/Father that stays at home with their children and takes care of the home and has dinner all ready @5:30/6, is AWESOME!!! Its super nice to come home and the home is spotless, dishes are clean, clothes are washed and so on.... Anyway No I haven't had this baby YET but being at school with all my little 2 year olds and running around for 6 hours with them just was tiring me out so much I was in bed every night around 7ish. It was sad and I was still tired the next day! So Alex and I thought it would be better for the baby and I to take it a little bit easier the last two weeks. So I'm home, its crazy how bored I am right now. I know once that baby girl comes life with be much different but being at the house right now has been boring everything so super clean and Alex's favorite i have been shopping 4 out of my 5 day at home so far ha. ITS GREAT!!!!! :)

Hair cut...

So I did my 3 year hair cut... ha I get my hair cut all the time but every 3- 31/2 years I chop it ALL off and give it to Locks of Love !!!! I you have never heard of Locks of Love its an organization that takes hair I believe 10inch or longer and they turn in to wigs for children that have lots their hair to cancer... so if you have long hair and are willing to chop it do it its a great cause! Here's my hair.........

Well I went to the Dr and we had a sonogram done they said they want to leave her in as long as they can b/c she only weighs 5lb 10oz and she is in the 22% for where most babies are at 37-38 weeks. Boooo So we just have to keep waiting...

yesterday my belly started to drop..... yes! the Dr I am dilated about 3cm. That sounds great but I could be this dilated for 3 weeks, So we wait!

Grandparents 50th Anniversary

So last Friday was my grandparents 50th anniversary, how cool is that some times I don't even know if I like Alex everyday ha j/k (I love you babe!) Anyway my parents and my aunt and uncle got together and bought them a trip to Hawaii b/c they had lived there for like 8 years. If you see the box they open its all Hawaiian painted yes that was me!!!!! I took me like 8 or 9 hours I had to add depth to the painting. So for dinner my grandparents wanted to eat at benihana I forget how good it is so Alex and I both got the Filet Mignon.... It was so good Alli keep stealing bits from me!

37 weeks and 3 to go.... boooo

So I'm at almost 37 weeks..... geeting close. Any day this baby could come, but I doctor is hoping she will stay in my belly till she is due Jan 30th bc at this point she only weights 5lb 10oz which the doctor said she is in the 22% for body weight whcih means she is tiny... ha all the weight I have gained is just fat now baby...:) Anyway I'm doing good and the doctor said even tho Bennett is small she is healthy. yayayayayay So here is the baby belly picture for this month-->

The zoo in January

We went to the zoo this past weekend on Sunday, we got there about 10:30am there was maybe like 30 people in the whole place. All the animals were up and moving around, the lions and the hyenas were all making crazy noises. The bears were climb up and down the habitats, and the monkey's were going crazy jumping around, chasing each other and there was 3 babies.... So cute! Heres some pictures off our day
